Males without sperm in their semen have little pockets of sperm in their testicles. A variety of healthy sperm that can be used in ICSI and IVF treatments are included in these pockets. These pockets are penetrated by skilled reproductive specialists, and some samples are taken using a technique similar to a needle biopsy.
Sperm gather in the tiny pockets found inside the testicles. Using an operating microscope, these pockets are removed from the testicles. After that, the lab opens these pockets to release the sperm, which can then be utilized for the IVF/ICSI procedure. Those with non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA), or the lack of sperm in the semen, benefit greatly from micro TESE.
